Lymph massage
"Lymph massage is used to stimulate the lymphatic vessels, by draining the lymph vessels, we improve the circulation in the lymph and reduce the swelling or edema of lymphatic origin.Lymph massage starts with the stimulation of the central lymphatic vessels. Start the treatment from the top and move downward with slow movements of steady pressures to drain the lymphatic vessels. Then drain the lymphatic vessels by moving from the lower parts of the limb(s) upward. Regular treatment is necessary for patients with edema of lymphatic origin, depending on its type and size. Otherwise the affected limb may swell to many times the original, resulting in severe pain and decreased function."
