Békés Fürdő
A Békés Fürdő egész évben szeretettel várja gyógyulni, vagy kikapcsolódni vágyó vendégeit.
Az 1927-ben fúrt asztalos utcai termálkút bekapcsolásával kezdődött el az akkori békési fürdő gyógyításra való hasznosítása, nemcsak a békésiek, hanem a környező települések lakosai is nagy számban vették igénybe a szolgáltatást. Az akkori épület és fürdő kialakítása lakossági összefogással történt 1930-ban. Az akkor még Békés község lakói téglajegyek formájában szerezték meg a szükséges pénzeszközöket. Az említett asztalos utcai termálkút vizét 1943-ban a Debreceni Közegészségügyi Intézet megvizsgálta, majd Dr. Jeney Endre professzor szakvéleménye alapján minősítették, összetételében és hatásában a hajdúszoboszlói víz összetételénél kedvezőbbnek minősítették. Alátámasztották azokat az empirikus tapasztalatokat, amelyek alapján több fajta betegség kezelésére szívesen vették igénybe a fürdő szolgáltatásait (mozgásszervi betegek, nőgyógyászati betegek és bizonyos bőrbántalmakban szenvedő betegek).
