A Hévízgyógyfürdő Nonprofit Kft. által fenntartott Hévízgyógyfürdő és Szent András Reumakórház Magyarországon a legjelentősebb olyan egészségügyi szolgáltató intézmény, amely a gyógyítás mellett jelentős gyógyidegenforgalmi tevékenységet is folytat. Egyedüli birtokosa egy olyan szellemi potenciálnak és az ezt kiszolgáló technikának, amelynek kutatásai, kutatási eredményei, diagnosztikai, terápiás részlegei, orvosszakmai háttere, szálláshelykínálata, valamint az oktatási szférában és a gyógyturizmusban betöltött szerepe mind belföldön, mind külföldön meghatározó helyet foglal el. Az intézmény egy közel 59 hektáros természetvédelmi területen helyezkedik el, amelynek harmada véderdő, harmada parkerdő és harmada közpark.
