Physiotherapy PE

"Physiotherapy PEs undergo a training similar to a regular PE and their job in educational institutions is to receive children and young people who because of various diseases or conditions cannot take part or only lightly in physical education classes. The structure of a session is similar to those of a PE class, but special exercises that are required by the given disease or condition are also used. The children's performance is graded.This means that therapeutic exercise and Physiotherapy PEs are not mutually equivalent, but two distinct types of care. Both are necessary, and both are important for children and young people but they have different purposes."
