A Saliris Resort SPA & Gyógy- és Thermal Fürdő Egerszalókon egész évben szeretettel várja gyógyulni, vagy kikapcsolódni vágyó vendégeit.



Egerszalók igazi nevezetessége a község déli részén a föld mélyéből feltörő termálforrás és a lefolyó víz által létrehozott mészkődomb, mely az évek során só-domb néven vált ismerté. A 65-68 C◦-os ásványi anyagokban igen gazdag gyógyvíz folyamatosan építi az impozáns látványt nyújtó csipkézett, fehér képződményeket.

A nátriumot is tartalmazó, kalcium-magnézium hidrogén karbonátos gyógyvíz, melynek metakovasav tartalma is jelentős, a kénes gyógyvizek kategóriájában az egyik legjobb besorolást kapta. Az évek során a mészkődomb a környék szimbólumává és védjegyévé vált. Az Európában egyedülálló látványhoz hasonló természeti képződmény még két helyen található a világon, Törökország ázsiai részén Pamukkale-ban, valamint az Egyesült Államokbeli Yellowstone Nemzeti Parkban.

Az első kutat kőolaj és földgáz után kutatva 1961-ben fúrták, a második furásra 1987-ben került sor. A 2011 augusztusában megrendezésre került Gyógyvíz Ünnep keretén belül ünnepeltük a félévszázados évfordulót. A kutak megszentelésük során, 2010 őszén kapták a Mária és a Vendel nevet. A Csodatevő Mária-kegykép az egerszalóki katolikus templomban található, míg Szent Vendel a források és kutak védőszentje.
