A Parádfürdői Kórház komoly történelmi múltra visszatekintő intézmény, a völgyet 1730-ban említették először gyógyhelyként.

Ma Magyarország egyik legismertebb mozgásszervi kezelésekre specializálódott rehabilitációs szakkórháza, mely országos felvevőkörrel rendelkezik. A kórház a Mátrában található majdnem 300 méter magasan, hatalmas erdők által körbevéve. A környék forrásaiból származó ásványvizek gyógyászati értéke mérhetetlen, a környéken három, különböző típusú, nagyszerű gyógyhatású víz található, amelyeknek Parád a hírnevét köszönheti.
