A 690 méter mélyről feltörő természeti kincs a vizsgált összetevők alapján nátrium-kalcium-hidrogénkarbonátos, kemény, fluoridos, kénes gyógyvíz, melynek jelentős a vas és metakovasav tartalma, amely lassítja az öregedést, jótékony hatással van a bőrre, körömre, hajra. Egyes hozzáértői vélemények szerint a magyarországi gyógyvizek nem létező ranglistáján nagyon előkelő helyet foglal el a demjéni.
